Hooligan’s Kids Clothing® is an ethical 100% Fair Trade certified children’s clothing label, made from 100% organic cotton. All embellishments is hand sewn and is proudly imported from my home country South Africa.
Hooligan Clothing range for Baby boys, baby girls clothing range in size from Newborn to 24 months, while our toddler boys & toddler girls’ clothing collections will keep your little ones fashionably dressed from 2 to 7 years of age.
Hooligans children’s clothes are unique, colourful & fun & are filled with cute little animal characters inspired by the African bush safari. A combination of printing, embroidery & applique techniques have been used throughout to create a distinctive range of eco-conscious, Fair trade, cotton children’s clothing.

100% Organic African Cotton
COTTON COMFORT
Cotton is soft and comfortable to wear. It absorbs and breathes, transferring moisture at a faster rate than synthetic fibres, so that little busy bees can play all day without perspiration building up and irritating their delicate skin.
Being a natural fibre cotton has great thermal insulation properties – keeping active bodies cool in summer and warm in winter. It is a renewable resource and a hypoallergenic material making it suitable for bambinos prone to allergies and skin irritations.
COTTON CARE
Cotton is strong and durable. Mum’s love it as it is low fuss and dries quickly, making it ideal for baby and children’s clothing. Cotton can withstand high temperatures, shows fewer wrinkles and is less likely to shrink when compared to other fabrics.
COTTON CONSCIENCE
Cotton is a renewable resource and is biodegradable. It replenishes and grows quickly and farming communities benefit from a crop that can sustain them easily without burdening the environment.
Superb quality and child friendly designs
The clothes are made from 100% African cotton (except for polar fleece items) and non toxic inks and dyes are used for the vibrant colours and unique prints.
Hooligans have kept cords short to avoid strangulation and tiny finger getting tangled up. All poppers are nickel and lead free, tested for safety and certified to be safely used in children’s clothing.
Neck and inner leg seams are designed to make the dressing of wriggling bundles and bouncy toddlers easy for Mum. Extra poppers on leg openings are used to keep chubby legs snug and warm.
The dolls have CE approval, meaning that it complies with the Toy Safety Directive of European Union Legislation.
Hooligans are frequently asked about the use of flame retardants in the fabrics that they use but they are unable to find a source that proves these chemicals to be safe for use in children’s clothing items.

They, backed by consumers, are engaged actively in supporting producers, raising awareness and in campaigning for changes in the rules and practice of conventional international trade. They can be recognized by the WFTO logo.
Fair Trade is more than just trading, it proves that greater justice in world trade is possible. It highlights the need for change in the rules and practice of conventional trade and shows how a successful business can also put people first.
Ethical practices and uplifting local communities
Hooligans sources its cotton from local suppliers, using the Wildlife Co-operative in Durban, South Africa to manufacture their clothes and independent groups to supply trims and crocheted items for their hairbands.
