Super cute girly pattern.

Attention all Mum's sewing clothes for their girly girls.

Look at this super cute pants pattern for the little fashionista in your house.

We'll be testing this gorgeous "Autumn pants" pattern from Paper Boat.https://www.facebook.com/paperboatpatterns?fref=ts

I was wonder what I was going to make with my pink camo corduroy fabric or the navy corduroy with pink daisy's.

This pattern will be my first girl pattern as I have two boys and I'm totally out numbered in this house.  I just can't wait to work with pink for a change;-)

Thank you for reading and please visit again.

A Memory Bear for special princess Zayla.

Celebrating and remembering Zayla!!

Making a Memory Bear or Quilt is always exiting and every single one is special.  Receiving a parcel from a mother that loss her little princess at two year of age due to a rare brain disease called Sturge Weber Syndrome makes it ever more special. Here is the Facebook page in memory of Zayla.

Opening up the parcel with Zayla's outfits and reading the note from her mother brought tears to my eyes and still does every time I look at my two gorgeous and "perfect" boys.  The tears dried up quick and soon I could see the possibilities and I was smiling away as I imaginatively placed the out fits on the bear model.

Zayla's Mum, Jessica is expecting a new bundle of joy and this is the whole reason we are making this special Memory Bear so that the new baby can hug, hold, squeeze and kiss and remembering their big sister Zayla everyday.

The making of this Memory Bear will be very close to my heart as I knowing what close family goes through by having a special princess in their lives.  I take my hat off to all the "strong" and amazing Mum's and Dad's out there looking after special needs children. .

You're so right, God does knows exactly who to give special children to.

We'll keep you updated with the process in making Zayla's Memory Bear.

The address for great patterns is 1 Puddle Lane!!!

Pattern tester for the Tree Climbing Hoodie.

I was selected to be a pattern tester for 1 Puddle Lane for the Tree climbing Hoodie. This must be one of the easiest patterns I've used. This pattern is great for beginners and intermediate sewers, no excuses everybody can sew;-))

The pattern was easy to read and could be used without a over locker.  I loved the idea of using different colours and textured fabric to create this playful hoodie.  This was a great sewing project to make sure all my odds and end fabric was used.

I would highly recommend 1 Puddle Lane for great and easy patterns, and the best of all is it Proudly Australian.

Here is some photos from start to finish.

Sorry there is no model for this fantastic Tree climbing hoodie.  The pattern was for a size 7 fortunately my Mr is only  5 and it is a bit on the big side.  I'm sure he'll grow into it...

Please go over to 1 Puddle Lane www.1puddlelane.com.au  and browse through her great patterns, and who knows maybe next time you'll be a tester for one of Ann's amazing pattern.

Thanks for stopping by, We'll talk soon.
